The village pub, the Bull and Butcher, offers a great venue, with events in the village including carols at Christmas with full brass band, the summer village fete and annual rounders match. Henley-on-Thames and Marlow are close by, with both towns offering attractive shopping facilities, bars and restaurants as well as excellent state, private and Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools. Within the village is a lovely pre-school nursery, with the local village primary school 2 miles away in Frieth.
