Description
A spacious detached house with five bedrooms, set in a large plot on the outskirts of Henley-on-Thames, within a short walk of Gillotts School. The property was last modernised in the 1980's but has had little work done since then; the property is to be let as seen. EPC Rating E. Unfurnished and available immediately.

Situation

Melody House is set off Greys Road, on the edge of Henley-on-Thames. The town has a wide range of local facilities, such as restaurants, shops, a cinema, theatre and local library. There is a weekly market in the Town Square and a monthly Farmer's market. The River Thames is a familiar feature of the town and supports a variety of rowing clubs, plus the annual Royal Regatta. The annual Music Festival, held after the Regatta, is a big draw, together with the Rewind Festival later in the summer. Transport links include an end of line station, providing services to London (Paddington) in about one hour via Twyford. The M4 and M40 are also within a relatively short drive. There are good schools in the locality, both state and private. Melody House is a substantial five bedroom house, with three reception rooms, a double garage and a large garden. The house is within a short walk of Gillotts School. The property has all mains services, with gas fired heating. Please be aware that the property was last updated in the 1980's but has not had any substantial updating since then; it is let as seen. The landlord will provide maintenance to the minimum required under statute but will not, for example, repair or replace non working appliances. The tenant would also need to provide for a gardener, with a recommendation available on request.
