Directions

From Marlow High Street, cross the Bridge, turn immediately left into Quarry Wood Road, (signposted Cookham Dean) past the Complete Angler Hotel. The road leads to, then climbs a steep hill. At the very top, there is a sharp left-hand bend. Take left fork, marked Winter Hill (1.3 miles from Compleat Angler).
Proceed along Winter Hill. The narrow road opens to a viewing point above the valley. About 0.7 miles from the start of Winter Hill is a dip with two roads leading sharply downhill to the left. Take the lower (right hand side) of the two marked Stonehouse Lane. (Do not take Gibraltar Lane). Almost immediately on the right off Stonehouse Lane is an entrance signposted "Spade Oak Reach", with an iron farm type gateway marked 'Farm Private Property'. The gate is sometimes closed and you may have to press the visitor button. Proceed downhill, following the road across the fields and then wiggle along the row of houses and Cransley will be located on the left-hand side.
