Directions
From the centre of Marlow proceed west from the obelisk along West Street towards Henley, turn right just before Platts Garage into Oxford Road, continue into Chalkpit Lane pass through the hamlet of Bovingdon Green passing the Royal Oak Public House and Village Hall on your left hand side. Continue into the Frieth Road, fork left signposted Marlow Common, pass through the wooded area, keeping straight on as the road drops down to the valley bottom and rises to Lower Woodend House. Turn left at Lower Woodend House, then turn right up the no through road to Wood End where 'Chail Cottage' will be found on the left hand side after a few hundred yards.
